Creating Magic at Ironwood Library

Summer Signature Smoothies

In the blazing heat of the summer sun, teens came to the library to chill out and enjoy a smoothie. Each teen was allowed to create their very own signature smoothies with the help of Chef Laura Slama of Celebrated Cuisine.

Did your summer suck?

Over the summer at Ironwood library, teens banned together for the first ever Twilight "Eclipse" after hours party. This was a free event for teens between the ages of 12-18, but one had to sign up on the guest list. The event included door prizes, refreshments, as well as music from the national indies touring band, "The Cullens".

Boo at Mesquite Library

Mesquite Library Teen Council sponsored Boo! at the Library on Thursday October 28, 2010.

Teens came in costume to volunteer to read stories to children (wow that was popular!), make a cat collage craft, play Seal Ring Toss game, parade through the Library in costumes not once but twice!, and purchased treats so every child could choose a treat to take home with them. Here are some photos of the evening.
