Manga, manga, manga

In Italian that means eat, eat, eat! But in libraryland it means those cool japanese style comics that we carry at PPL.

My current faves include:

Love.Com-http://www.phoenixpubliclibrary.org/blaze/controller.jsp?R=2118921685. This one cracks me up. Tall girl, short boy-is it possible to find love together?

Dragon Eye-http://www.phoenixpubliclibrary.org/blaze/controller.jsp?R=2118929161. Misfit band of warriors battling to save the world from.....giant chickens? (There's more to it than this-but writing these things is hard!)

Death Jr. 2-http://www.phoenixpubliclibrary.org/blaze/controller.jsp?R=2118942534. Just read it.

Do you have a favorite series or title that you enjoy?

Ironwood Teens said...: I find manga boring, unrealistic, and strange.

Yet it still seems very popular and thus I agree with it for program scheduling.

1. BE SAFE. Use a screen name. Never reveal your name, address, phone numbers, email or anything that could help a stranger locate you. Report ANYTHING you feel uncomfortable about to library staff.

2. BE NICE. No personal attacks. You can voice your opinion on what someonw writes, but not on that person. Express yourself, but remember you are dealing with other humans (with emotions!) so be polite.

3. BE SMART. This blog can be read by anyone so think before you post. What's online, stays online. You are also representing Phoenix Public Library Teens to the world... please do it as best you can.
